Welcome to the Preventon Security Scanner

Preventon's Self Test Scanner is a free service supplied, when available, to home users running Microsoft Windows® 98 SE, ME, 2000 and XP, providing an indication of your computer's online security, across a range of common attacks.

This Scanner Service will run an Internet Port Vulnerability Scan, a NetBIOS scan and attempt to extract user information, and a Trojan Horse/Zombie vulnerability analysis on your computer from the Preventon Server.

You will be presented with a small test program to download, which performs a check of vulnerabilities on your machine.

The Preventon Security Scanner has completed security checks to date.
